In response to wishes from, in particular, IT departments, at bigger organisations from both present clients and potential clients, WebProof has decided to get the best international certification – ISO 27001, which very few software companies have. This project will take around a year and has already been started.

Even though WebProof has described all its programming procedures, security checks, etc. very well, ISO 27001 certification will also involve external audits, allowing customers to rely on this official, external evidence. The alternative would be that the IT departments would have to perform this audit themselves, and WebProof would have to complete individual questionnaires for each company. The result is that the ISO 27001 certification is a win-win situation for both WebProof and its customers.
