The Danish software WebProof.com won the order for the annual handling of 13,000 pamphlets at Scandinavia’s largest shopping chain – ICA AB, with supermarkets in both Sweden and Norway.
WebProof in Roskilde has yet again proven that Danish IT, based on unique, innovative program development, can be a global player.
“As one of the established and biggest software providers in online proofing, we were invited to give suggestions on how WebProof would satisfy the detailed specification requirements that ICA had put forward, especially including requirements for security, up-time and speed. We must have shown this very well via online meetings and workshops,” states Jan Adeltoft, CEO at WebProof A/S, and continues “I have great respect for the thoroughness shown by ICA, plus their ability to involve users and get their acceptance, prior to a decision being made. It is the biggest pamphlet-producer in Scandinavia for only one customer, and security requirements are naturally very high. WebProof is an online proofing service, designed especially for graphics production. The software handles and automates approval processes of graphic documents, amongst others. As many people are involved in proofing approval, this means that WebProof typically reduces total production times by 25%.
